Ajax 4 - Trout Fly Rod 9" #5

A 4-piece fly rod with a #5-line rating that is a traditional Sharpe's rod constructed using a multi modulus blank. It has a fairly stiff middle to tip action, with excellent recovery action, that gives it outstanding performance from a bank. Described as a user-friendly rod it will comfortably handle an intermediate or sinking line.

The rod comes in a black coloured Cordura tube with a distinctive logo and black rod bag.

The rod is Graphite Dark Blue in colour and weighs circa 103 gms / 3.63 ozs, while the overall rod tube length is
82 cms or 32 inches.

What a great rod!

I bought this rod to replace one my grandson borrowed and apparently regards as his. To say I am happy with my 5 weight Ajax is an understatement. It is beautifully finished and well made. It handles beautifully and makes casting a joy. It is now my 'go to' 5 weight.

It is definitely a five star rod!
