First designed in 1928, the original Gye net has stood the test of time and many anglers would agree has never been beaten.
Carried over your back, to use it, just release the peel sling and the net head will fall down making the operation just one handed.
The 48" sliding handle and 27" diameter net frame are constructed from high tensile aluminium, with a cast alloy powder coated block.
It is supplied with a leather peel sling and a high quality Sharpe's knotless net bag (Code KL8R), with 1" (28mm) square meshes that is approximately 36" deep, as shown in the photograph.
We often learn that these have being passed down from each generation!
The 27” Gye net is one of our most popular sizes, the other being the 24" Gye Net.
